2Gs inaugural episode
For years I assumed there was only one of me. The evidence now suggests otherwise.
A while back another Greg Brown turned up in my notifications: same name, same line of work, near enough the same face, and an unsettlingly similar opinion about AI.
In short, a Dopplegänger!
His name, and I am not making this up, is Gregg Bayes-Brown, which feels like the universe showing off.
One of us messaged the other, both braced to argue over the brand. Instead we got on like a house on fire, so we did the only sensible thing and started a podcast.
It is called 2Gs & Whine. Two AI practitioners who spend their days on the same problem, comparing notes out loud. That problem being how to get businesses past the shiny-tool stage of AI and into the part that works: real adoption, real strategy, and rather fewer demos that collapse the second you feed them your own data.
Episode one is out and gloriously rough around the edges. We get into loonshots, the skills gap nobody wants to name, and why so much AI advice is delivered by what we have lovingly christened slop puppets.
Wine optional. Whine encouraged. Come and find us.
