Never met, wants to teach me how to post?

A man I have never met would like to teach me how to post.

He has (probably) not read even one of my hundreds of self-written posts. His method, however, is a seven-step framework. His message is four paragraphs long, and not one of them sounds like a real person, except his genuine happiness at my accepting his connection. There is a CTA at the end, naturally. Book a 1:1 to unlock my authentic voice. Why not 3:1, or some other fun ratio? Who knows 🤷🏼

I keep turning "authentic voice" over in my mind. That phrase is being touted to me by someone who appears to have mislaid his own somewhere around step three.

Let's be clear, I have nothing against cold outreach. I've done plenty of it over the years.

The people offering you a system for sounding like yourself are, almost without exception, the ones who have stopped sounding like anyone at all. The framework is not the cure; if anything, it is the symptom.

You do not need a methodology to say something true. You need something to say.
