The business challenge

The venture needed to turn a financing concept into a working platform businesses could join and use. Product development, a payment experience and infrastructure had to move together, alongside commercial and regulatory work in Switzerland and Italy.

02

My responsibility

I owned the product and technical direction, set delivery priorities and managed five programmers and a designer day-to-day. The wider international team grew to 16 people. I also contributed to go-to-market work, customer success, partnerships, investor pitches, fundraising and regulatory work.

03

Architecture, payments and delivery

My main areas of decision-making were architecture, payments and implementation. I directed the development team and owned infrastructure and cloud operations. We delivered a QR payment system to support contactless transactions as part of the platform.

04

What reached the market

The platform launched and more than 1,500 businesses actively joined. It included a complete QR payment system supporting contactless transactions. This is evidence of a product taken into real use, alongside the team, architecture and operational responsibilities needed to get it there.

What this shows about my leadership

This venture brought together product direction, architectural decisions, daily team leadership, payment implementation and cloud operations. It demonstrates the breadth of responsibility I can bring to a CTO mandate, with commercial and regulatory collaboration alongside technical delivery.
